Emily has a wealth of experience in the educational industry and in business. Prior to joining the STS Team, Emily was a Gifted and Talented Specialist, devoting much of her career to support the unique needs of Gifted and Talented students through collaboration with other educators, parents and mental health providers. Emily is also the owner and operator of a private tutoring company, where Emily continues to foster the academic and social-emotional independence in students by leveraging individual strengths to support student needs.

Emily draws upon her experience in education to help facilitate a better understanding of her clients’ needs, while also helping candidates navigate and stand out in a competitive job market. Her excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills come particularly in handy for Emily’s candidates, from resume review to coaching through the interview process and beyond.
